Trafalfar Square is definitely a must visit and any city tour will pass through this. It's location is excellent being close to Buckingham Palace as well as Covent Garden and Leicester Square. It has a perfect setting for a nice relaxing lunch. If you are lucky, (on some weekends) live shows and movie screenings are held - these are free and open to all. The two lions are great for taking pictures and you might as well go to the National Portrait Gallery. The day I went they had placed fake grass over the entire square, making it an ideal location for a picnic!

(Report Problem)Traflagar Square is free and full of pigeons and tourists, but the National Gallery and Lunch in St Martin's was the best!

(Report Problem)trafalgar square is in the midst of many attractions and is free which in itself makes it a worth while and easy stop. Not only is it fun to watch people of all ages climb around the statues of lions but you can also tell your frinds when the commercials for wedding bands are on tv, "hey i've been there"

(Report Problem)Trafalgar Square was an interesting break from all the buildings and other sites we saw in our week in London. It is probably the largest restaurant for pigeons in the world, certainly in Great Britain. The buildings surrounding it make it a crossroads for many tourists, and its fountains were undoubtedly a welcome site for many overheated tourists in the record-busting heat of last August, when I was there.
