(Report Problem)It was really slow...felt like I was there for ages. The queue moved fast though and the view was good. But overall, not worth wasting time for. Better to visit the lovely natural history museum or the Victoria & Albert Museum.

(Report Problem)I am completely petrified of heights and found looking out of the window without holding on to the edge a struggle. I was glad I didn't just sit down, because lookin gat the beautiful london skyline was such a great experience. We were lucky enough to have the champagne tour, which gives you the added benefit of not queuing. The day was sunny, and a little hazy which man our visibility was spot on but was no good for taking picutres.

(Report Problem)I recently did a "flight" on the London eye and although the weather was quite hazy, we were able to still see for miles. We did a champagne flight which meant we didnt have to queue and were given a glass of champagne while we were going around. Its a great 30-40 minutes

(Report Problem)I've been on the London eye now 5 times and everytime it gets more amazing, looking across at the sites of London as far as the eye can see, a must do activity in the day and at night.

(Report Problem)Though "the ride" is a bit short at 25-30 minutes (with about 15 of that high enough for a decent view), I enjoyed the experience. I took a visiting friend. We had fun (except for the end bit where a picture is taken. We got it TOTALLY wrong, and they got a picture of our backs. Funny!) However, £15 is a bit much for the experience. I think half that would be more acceptable, or maybe they should offer more for the money (free guide book, I bought mine -- it's a cool design and everything but still). That said, I would certainly go back if any of my visitors fancy a flight. It's fun to include it in a "day" (e.g., make a day of it also going to nearby museums, galleries, cafes, Southbank, etc.). For well over £300, you can hire a whole cabin to yourself and spin around twice.

(Report Problem)Having lived in London for quite a few years already, I was really looking forward to my first 'flight' on the London Eye. And it was fantastic, although I haven't got a head for heights so luckily I had a good 15 minutes to get used to our pod moving slowly but surely higher and higher above the ground. However, once I got used to the feeling, it was wonderful to 'float' above London and get a different perspective of our beautiful city. But make sure you pre-book your tickets to avoid having to queue twice! I used a site called www.365tickets.com - they don't charge any other booking fees and issue printable vouchers, so you can pretty much book up until the last minute. Enjoy!!!
