The queue to get in is always really really long and a bit off putting. The wax works are good but they stop amazing you after you have sen a handful.

Value for Money

The place was full of excitement,the kids were totally amazed looking at the famous wax works, Madame Tussauds is a place to take active tourists from abroad as its next to the real celebrity visit. The auditorium was also relaxing to watch and get a sense of inner peace after walking so much. I wouyld recommend this place full of adventure and famous bodies and faces.

Nice, but expensive

excellent waxworks, and a lot to see, but prices are now (2005) close to $40. U.S., too much for what you get. Without price as a factor, I would rate it much higher.

wax is the max

Compared to the Amsterdam museum this is the bomb! I went hesitantly and was very pleasantly surprised. I would recommend doing this if anything in London.

Loved it

I loved this place! I thought it was laid out very well and had so many exhibits to look at. Some look more real than others but it was all very good. I especially liked the Haunted Dungeon walk and the Tom Cruise wax figure!

A bit too much?

It was a lot of fun to see the wax figures, but I really didn't want to have my picture taken with them! There is a bit too much glitz surrounding the wax statues of rock stars and athletes, and the Chamber of Horrors goes a bit over the top. Nonetheless, it's enjoyable.

cor crowd but good

it was interesting at the items in it were great but it was extremely crowded which made it difficult to see all the wax works. the chamber was good but was quite short. the spirit of london ride was a nice excuse to sit down for a rest.
