World-Class View
Liked the train ride up, liked the view. This statue is to Brazil as the Statue of Liberty is to the US...they are the two defining public monuments in the Western Hemisphere. You should see both in your lifetime

Beatifull view to the whole city, and what a city. Suggest taking the eletric train to the top of the moutain and sitting at the right hand side to take photos (mostly after the train's first stop). Only get off once you get at the top of the moutain, it´s not worth getting off before and walking up.

Not a lot of people know the meaning of Corcovado, the word that means " Heart where are you going" comes from Latin. With the arms wide open the Christ is blessing not only Rio de Janeiro, but also its residents and tourist that travels from all around the globe to have this unique experience. I just loved to be there. It was a unique experience to me.

You see this beautiful statue from virtually the whole city. It's cool
to see "His" view of the city as well.
