The admission fee is now EUR 6 (normal ticket) or EUR 3 (student rate). At least two days required to visit the whole museum :)

Excellent

five stars

Plan on 2 days if you're an art lover. One full day if you just want to see highlights. Don't miss any Goya.

The Prado is definitely one of the finest museums of the world. It is a must see for any art lover. Famous pieces include Velazquez's "Las Meninas", Fra Angelico's "The Annunciation" and my personal favorite "The Garden of Earthly Delights" by Bosch. You'll also find lots of Goya here, including some very dark work from his "black paintings".
