My 14-year old son and I were looking forward to a day at NEMO while visiting Amsterdam. Not to take anything away from the place -- it is truly an amazing facility -- but the exhibits and activities were really for the under 10 crowd. We still had a nice time and enjoyed a great juggling show that had some science theme behind it. But I'd not make it the highlight of your trip to Amsterdam with children that are past about 10 or 11 years old. The Anne Frank House was much more appropriate to my son's age.

(Report Problem)NEMO is a kid's museum that is all hands-on. Activities are appropriate for kids five to 100, and range from OK to great. For the adults there is a nice cafe and bar on the roof with great outdoor seating if the sun is shining (big if in Amsterdam). Our family has been to NEMO several times and have enjoyed all the visits
