(Report Problem)Flamenco place and nice apartment on Marques de barbera, Raval
We were delighted by Raval, unlike some of the harsh things i had read online. Romesco restaurant, value and battered aubergines, the little backstreet flamenco place on the same street as our apartment, finding newer, smaller and more characteristic bars the deeper and deeper we ventured into the district. calle joaquim Costa with its well-priced, interesting bars such as Benidorm. The apartment, De Marques, was also a way2stay.com and they were excellent with us and giving recommendations, advice etc. Good area guide. I have tried staying in other areas such as Eixample and the gothic quarter. We love Raval.

(Report Problem)very good time in Barcelona
After making online a booking with Way2Stay, I must say as simple as a hotel booking, we arrived in Barcelona and had a warm welcome in the apartment. Just a little bit noice from the streets in the evening (spanish people speak loud ;-). We had a wonderful time in the area Barceloneta at the beach and near the gothic quarter. Cheers, Ana and Jim

(Report Problem)Must visit in Barcelona
It reminded me of Covent Garden - lots of people, lively atmosphere, street entertainers, small restaurants and shops. There is a fruit and vegetable market is very unique. A small falafel shop there serves the most delicious falafels - you can add as much salad and dressing as you want. Very nice to just roam around and spend an afternoon eating ice cream !

My cousin and had a wicked time! We stayed just at the top of la ramblas in taber hotel. We usd to woal up and down l ramblas everyday we had everything at hand! Lots of people, lots of places to eat lots of places to shop! Weather was gorjuss! The Beach near Port Olympic was amazing!!!! I definatley recommend a city break to barcelona!

During the day and early evening this is a great place to chill with a beer and see the world go by or go shopping. By night it takes on a different tone and the nickname klingon Alley, where the girls (& boys) of the night are a little to evident and persistent.
