harley week mistake

although we enjoyed our stay being english we were not ready for harley week we could not believe the number of bikes and the noise was deafening

Can't wait to go back!

Myrtle beach is a great vacation spot for anyone looking for a relaxing vacation or for a fun filled trip with a lot to do and see. It will take you a long time to run out of things to do here... there's an amusement park, tons of shops and malls, very elaborate mini golf courses, hundreds of restuarants, and of course the beach itself is great.

the all around vaction experience

i loved myrtle beach i have been comimg to myrtle beach for the pass 4 years every summer sometimes twice in a summer. I usaully go once for myself and then again with my sons who loves it as well. therer is so much to do and see and each time i go i feel like its a new adventure for me. i tell all my co-workers and freinds to take their trips there. if i had a complaint about it the only thing i say is the hotel parking is not adequate for the guess. other than that i feel this the perfect vacation spot for anyone. i plan to contine to come back every summer.

no good myrtle beach

i hated myrtle beach! it looked like no one took care of the land or the buildings. the atmosphere was not good and I did not feel safe with my children there!

Big fan of Myrtle Beach, plenty for kids to do if you have children...Loved the Beach..Found reasonable lodging..Can drive there in one day

Family Fun

My family loves Myrtle Beach. We visit every year. My family comes from different areas of the U.S. and we meet there! There is something to do for all ages, such as rides for the kids and shopping for the ladies. We always stay North Myrtle Beach around Cherry Grove area. It is more of a family atmosphere. The fully equiped condos are ideal and everything we enjoy is close enough to drive. We love the variety of resturants. We draw names for everyday of the week, and that person gets to pick the resturant for the night! We try to be at the resturants no later then 5:00 to avoid the crowds and waiting time to eat. That way there is always room for ice cream later after that competitive game of Putt-Putt!

Why

Myrtle Beach somehow make this list just like Panama City, and Daytona somehow. I guess people are not interested in actually going to nice, clean places. There are hundreds of beaches which are much nicer than any of the three above. In South Carolina alone try the Outer Banks or Hilton Head, both are much nicer than Myrtle Beach. Also the traffic in MB is awful. Punk kids in ricer cars and bikes cruising around wasting space. Awful town and filfthy beach if you enjoy truly wretched destinations I would greatly recommend MB.

Best vacation ever, going back in 20 days and counting!!

My family vacations every year. Two years ago, we went to Myrtle Beach. It was absolutely the best vacation we have ever had!! We have been to Panama City, Disney, Ft. Walton...none of them compared to our Myrtle Beach vacation. There was something for the kids to do every minute of the day. And we were not having to break the bank to do it. We stayed at the Sea Mist Resort, which not only has it's own large water park, but our package also included unlimited access to the amusement park right down the street. Our children are 5, 12, 13, and 15 and they all say they had the best time of their lives. And...in 20 more days and counting, we leave for Myrtle Beach again!!! Honestly, if you are parents looking for a kid-friendly, economical place to vacation that you will also enjoy, Myrtle Beach is the place. We have tried many other places, but this is the only place that had something for all of us. On the day we had to leave to go home, my children and I cried because we did not want to leave. It will truly be a memorable vacation for you.

My little paradise

I have been coming to Myrtle Beach for the past 25 years and dollar for dollar you cannot beat it. It is a much better vacation if you stay at one of the larger campgrounds as it is not as crowded.
