My trip to Seattle was wonderful, except the flights on Continental each way. There is no 'customer service' anymore. On the way to Seattle, it took 3 hours just to get through Airport security in Atlanta, therefore, many people missed their flight, including me. They then made us 'standby' instead of giving us confirmed space. I ended up waiting in the Atlanta airport for 9 hours! The Continental airlines people didn't hold out any hope of me even making a flight that day. On the return, my flight connection in Newark was only half an hour. I had to go from terminal C to teminal A. The train from one terminal to the other took 5 minutes to arrive, and then I had to go through security, again, and take my tennis shoes off. By the time I made it to the gate, I was right on time -but the flight had already been boarded and they made me standy again, even though the connection time was not my fault! The Continental people said I was sold an 'illegal' connection time by you, and it was not their fault. However, when I reconfirmed my flights with Continental the day before I left, the reservations agent on the telephone didn't bother to advise me of this. Overall, I had a HORRIBLE experience flying on Continental Airlines and I do not plan to fly with them again!
