Just loved it.

People friendly and helpfull. Lots to see and do. Felt safe while roaming round.Good food, great market. Space Needle was brilliant, as where a couple of exhibitions I went to.

Home from Home

Visited my brother and sister in law in Duvall. My brother took me hunting for a weekend, my sister in law (local) showed me all the sights, with-in a two hour radius. I went scuba diving with Bubbles below. Stayed for ten days, far too short and loved every moment. Returning in a month or two to do the same again. Derek Tierney

I like it there because it is where I was born and it's very nice. If you think there is too much sun somewhere go to Seatle, or just Washington. I really, really like it.

Sleepless city allright!!

I was born in Seattle, WA. It is a very beautiful city!! Mt. Rainier,the cascades, the puget sound. I love the misty days! You better get use to the rain there if you want to visit. Its mostly light rain/mist not torrential downpours. The food is awesome!! Best seafood ever! The lobster house is the best, for fast food Ivars is incredible! And you got your coffee there. The skyline is gorgeous at night!! and the space needle has a breathtaking view of the emerald city. The only bad things is its very pricy! and the traffic you got Tacoma just 25-30 miles south thats why. Other than that nothing to complain about! One of my fav. places I've ever been to and lived!!! A must go! Its really worth it!

Trip to Bellevue

I stayed in Bellevue since I attended a conference there & only went to Seattle twice during my trip. There is a Japanese community in Bellevue, so I could go to a Japanese hair salon, a Japanese grocery store, and Japanese restaurants. Sushi was really great!! I strongly recommend "I Love Sushi." If you are Japanese or interested in Japanese stuff, this is a great place. But for sight-seeing, there is nothing much in Bellevue. All the interesting stuff is in Seattle. I also took ferry to Victoria from Seattle. The service was great and the immigration process was much easier that an airport. It was a pleasant trip.

Worth the visit!

Offers a variety of experiences that are easily accessible & overall a clean city. The views around the area are breathtaking. Make sure you get out and do some exploring!

The Worst Flight Ever on Continental Airlines!

My trip to Seattle was wonderful, except the flights on Continental each way. There is no 'customer service' anymore. On the way to Seattle, it took 3 hours just to get through Airport security in Atlanta, therefore, many people missed their flight, including me. They then made us 'standby' instead of giving us confirmed space. I ended up waiting in the Atlanta airport for 9 hours! The Continental airlines people didn't hold out any hope of me even making a flight that day. On the return, my flight connection in Newark was only half an hour. I had to go from terminal C to teminal A. The train from one terminal to the other took 5 minutes to arrive, and then I had to go through security, again, and take my tennis shoes off. By the time I made it to the gate, I was right on time -but the flight had already been boarded and they made me standy again, even though the connection time was not my fault! The Continental people said I was sold an 'illegal' connection time by you, and it was not their fault. However, when I reconfirmed my flights with Continental the day before I left, the reservations agent on the telephone didn't bother to advise me of this. Overall, I had a HORRIBLE experience flying on Continental Airlines and I do not plan to fly with them again!

I love this place it is my home, I was on Spring break...and Yahoo travel is the best! and I willl be back in 10 days to help celebrate my Grandmothers "80"th birthday, then back down to LA till Summer break, keep up the good work!
