Rotorua is a small town - with lots to offer! The highlight of our trip was a morning of White Water Rafting on the Kaituna river. As a grade five river, there are thrills (and spills!) aplenty... and hold on tight for the 7 metre waterfall! This is the highest commercially rafted drop in the world, and a must for all adrenalin junkies! For a quieter day out, try the Geothermal park... breathtaking scenery!

(Report Problem)THIS IS ONE OF THE NICER CITIES THAT HAVE VISITED WHILE TRAVELING.I COULDN'T GET OVER THE FACT OF FEELING SO SAFE. WAS SURPRISED ONE DAY WHEN I HAD GONE TO THE MOVIE, AND THE POLICE WERE STANDING OUTSIDE OF THE THEATER WARNING PEOPLE THAT CARS WERE BEING BROKE INTO.VERY NICE OF THEM.DID HAVE A LITTLE PROBLEM DECODING THEIR ROAD SIGNS AND FINDING WHERE THEY WERE POSTED.SOME PLACES NEED MORE SIGNS.EVEN HAVING A MAP, I COULD NOT TELL HOW FAR IT WAS TO A PLACE OR EXACTLY WHERE I WAS AT.OH WELL, THAT IS HOW YOU SEE GREAT PLACES. GOING WHERE YOU HAD NOT PLANNED TO. NEVER KNOW WHAT YOU WILL FIND! CAN'T WAIT TO GO BACK!!!!!!!!!!
