Beautiful City

I loved this city. The museums and palaces are beautiful and the streets are clean. Food is fine as well and the people are friendly and make an effort to help you even if they don't understand English very well. Go there if you can!

Tanned and distracted in Copenhagen

I only spent a week in Copenhagen but I loved it. The city is well set out for bike riders and conpact enough for people who walk. Services where efficient while i was there and if you dont know Danish (and I dont) english is common enough to have few problems if any. If there is a down side it is the expense that you will find in most cities of Europe. I very much enjoyed my time here and plan to return.

Wonderful, Wonderful Copenhagen

We have hosted Danish exchange students here in the US for several years and finally were able to go visit them and their country. Copenhagen truly IS a wonderful place. The Danes are friendly and most speak English quite well. In June it starts getting light about 4am and doesn't get dark until 11pm...WAY COOL! Definately visit some castles and museums. The Danes have real history compared to the US.

Copenhagen vs Frankfurt

Hi all, Would appreciate if anyone could highlight what are the main attractions at these places.... I'm going for business trip & would transit at one of these place... Still deciding, which one is better for a short two days? And what is the weather like during 18-25 Apr? Thank you in advance for your assistance.

Winter's not so bad!

I recently returned from Kobenhavn in January. Many say that winter is not a good time to go, but we had a great time. Sure, the days are short (sunrise 9am, sets at 4pm), but the nightlife there was great. We found the people to be very welcoming and approachable. We all made a few friends that are now planning trips to the US.

can't wait to go back

spending a vacation in copenhagen is amazing. the danes are wonderful, friendly and beautiful people. best recommendation is to go during the late spring (winter is cold and dark). take a day or two to venture outside the city to hamlet's castle and the Lousiana Museum.
