Overall

We visited with our two sons and had a FANTASTIC time. We did all the usual tourist places plus the wonderful art galleries. The boys loved everything, particularly the Pompidou centre (both inside and out). We didn't even bother with Disneyland! Great education for the kids without them even knowing it. Terrific food, helpful locals particularly if you have a go at speaking French. Even the waiters were helpful! Stayed on the Rue du Rivolli opposite the Louvre, but please note, the Louvre is shut on a Tuesday, and as we'd left it til our last day to find this out, we were very disappointed. Oh well, a good excuse for another visit!
