Transportation

five stars

Las Vegas is awesome, it gives everyone a chance to be a VIP. We rented a limousine and toured the strip looking out the moon roof at all the excitment. You can find a good limo service by searching Google: nevada casino limos The limos were surprisingly cheap but the drinks in Las Vegas are much more expensive than the last time but with the exchange rate now it still is not too bad.

stratasphere is the tops

five stars

Stayed at Stratasphere September 2006 worth every penny if only for the experience of going to the inspection tower at the very top of the hotel. If i could afford to go every year would do so, loved the place. Vegas is a place everybody should go at least once in a lifetime. Vegas Lover

Sense of Humour and Gas Mask Needed....

three stars

We stayed for 5 nights at the Stratosphere, which was good value for money. A day pass for the bus that went up and down the strip cost about $5. There were plenty of shows but with the cost of some of them, I would rather spend the money and see the shows up the West End. I suffer from asthma and found the smokey atmosphere too much at times, you definately notice a stale stench as you go in and out of the hotels. At first the prositute adverts on giant boards on the back of trucks was funny as were the touts offering cards with the prostitutes details in front of your face. It quickly became offensive and we felt really hassled, the middle of the strip was the worst area. I thought that there were 3 places worth visiting, Margaritaville, Top of the World Restaurant and the Grand Canyon. The restaurant which is on top of the Stratosphere, was expensive but worth every penny for the a unique experience. You are met and taken in a lift to the 106th floor, where you can have a cocktail before being shown to your table. The restaurant has full length glass windows from top to bottome and slowly rotates as you eat so that you see out over the whole of Vegas. We were seated at a lovely table facing out so that we did not miss the fantastic view. It lasted longer than a helicopter ride and we saw a lot more! We visited the Grand Canyon in a Hummer, which seemed more personal, interesting and great value. I think 3 days in Vegas in more than enough.

Vegas the best city in the World

five stars

Vegas is for me the best place on the planet there is simply nothing like it. I have been a dozen times and we have decided that we will get married there in September this year. If you dont gamble there is still loads to do friendly people, great clubs, good food, unusual hotels and great fun. For best results leave the kids at home. have a look at www.vegasuncovered.com loads on there.

Heaven on Earth

five stars

Simply the best place on earth! Something to do for people of all ages. Casinos are just a fraction of what this city has to offer. There is so much to do in the hotels that you do not need to go out! All the hotels such as Ceasar's Palace, the Venetian, MGM Grand, etc., are beautifully built. There are endless shows such as the famous Blue Man Group shows, although children are usually not allowed in most of them. The shopping at Ceasar's Palace is great! The grand canyon which is close to Las Vegas should definitely be visited as well.

Viva Las Vegas

five stars

I got back from Vegas a few days ago & I cant understand why I've never been before! I was FANTASTIC. I felt very safe. It was clean in 90% of the places. The only places that were not clea were outside building sites. It can be done as cheeply as you want. You can get coupons from free magazines for discounts and free drinks. If you are sat in the right place & if you are cheeky enough you can get almost any drink for the price of a tip in the casinos. The only negative point is the traveling but that's my fault for not living there!

Vegas Baby!!!

five stars

I've only had my first experience of Las Vegas at the beginning of this year. I went in january for a week and did not want to leave. I immediately fell in love with it. and having been to Hollywood, find it a LOT more glamorous than Tinsel town!!! The fun way to gamble is to do it through the penny & nickel machines, especially the "Deal or No Deal" machines (they're so addictive!!!) The shops are incredible, as are the hotels, everyone is soooo polite and welcoming, the weather is awesome (although there was a day where it was as freezing cold as Scotland) and the shows are amazing - Blue Man Group are wicked!! I'm already saving up for my next visit, and have decided that Vegas will be the ideal place for my honeymoon... just have to find the ideal husband first!!!!!

Great place to have a holiday.

five stars

Been to las vegas twice, cannot fault this destination for a great holiday, must say though, dont stay at the gold coast hotel. Appart from that had a great time on both ocastions and cannot wait to return. For a great night out i must say the rio hotel, its madi gras every night with fantastic floats going around the ceiling, all singing dancing extravagansa. Then go up to the night club at the top, the veiw is fantastic, and so is the entertainment.
