I really miss Hobart!!!

Hi! I'm a hobartian but now live in Greece. I really miss Hobart & proud to be an Australian. My last trip to Hobart was whith my husband & 8mth old daughter. We had an excellent time on Mt Wellington & the Richmond Zoo!!!

Great for: Beaches, Skiing/Snowboarding, Hiking/Camping, History/Culture, Theatre/Music, Nightlife, Budget Travel, Family Holidays

Tassie-Freshest Place

I love tassie as it is quiet and it maskes you feel like you are in europe... a great place for retirement and relaxation... cradle mountain, fruit farms, richmond are great place to go to...its is really beautiful unlike other states in australia which is tourist oriented... Natural, breezy and Fresh!

Wonderful!!

Hobart has big town attractions but still maintains a wonderful small town feel. The restaurants are awesome!! Salamanca Place, Battery Point, Botanical Gardens and the City - all are wonderful and basically within walking distance of each other. Small Art Galleries abound and the Tasmanian Museum and Art Gallery is well worth the visit.
