The place to go and see the people of Prague. Soak up the atmosphere; listen to the music, have a portrait done and buy some handmade crafts.

(Report Problem)Charles Bridge is really very nice place. I like it much. There is a lot of good painters, souvenirs. All the things are really very cheap and nice. Czech people have true czech golden hands. And they have good beer. I think you must see Charles Bridge. I can tell to you I will go to Prague many times yet.
Last Visit: July 2005

(Report Problem)Traditional tourist sight that attracts 'em in hordes, which can ruin it. However on a quiet morning, or later in the evening, you get the atmosphere, the river, the great views of either side of Prague....so pick your time carefully :)

(Report Problem)If you are in Prague you have to be on Charles Bridge. Not only beacuse of the beautiful view of Hradcany but also due to spacial atmospher and historical value. It's quite crowded there so it's better to go for a walk in the morning.

(Report Problem)One of the most powerful, mystic places I have been yet in my life. Strolling along the Charles Bridge on Christmas eve, looking at the palace on the hill, and lights shimmering off the river. Locals singing Christmas carols off to the side....one of the best places in Europe.

(Report Problem)Charles Bridge in Spring is a site worth seeing. It's worth a 30-minute slow walk, taking in the statues, buskers, craft booths and people. This is a lively, eclectic mix and gives you a feel for the energy of Prague. The view from the middle of the bridge of Old Town is spectacular and be sure to bring your camera.
