A remarkable building with an unusual style as synagogue but a definete worth to visit. The garden and the museum is a must seen The tourist guides and the museum staff are extremely helpful and well prepared for any questions.They are efficient and friendly as well.

(Report Problem)I loved how i fealt like i had actually lived in the 1944 tragedy. I loved the beautiful architecture. If you decide to visit this place on your travels through Hungary, you have made an extremely attentive choice. PS IM HUNGARIAN

(Report Problem)The Synagogue and Jewish Museum of Budapest will mean different things to
different people. You may wish to visit here for the architecture and
history, this alone would be well worth the admission. But for many (
myself included ) it's an emotional roller coaster filled with joy,
memories, pain, and in 1944-tragidy.
Regardless of your religious
beliefs, If you really want to understand people, try to see where they
worship or have worshipped, past or present.
