Thank you for sending in your review. The community appreciates your feedback. For all visitors to Ho Chi Minh city, this museum is an absolute must. Forget your politics. The museum is housed in an old American administration building, it has several different sections. These contain photo's and exhibits (loose translation), of the American/Vietnam war. The museum changes frequently as more exhibits are displayed and furthe development occurs. It is shocking yet compelling. Many argue that it does not give a true reflection of both sides, but nor should it. It is not a museum to honour the American involvement in a foreign war. It is a reminder however of the horrors of that war and the weapons and chemicals used. Don't go just before lunch as some exhibits may be found offensive. When you do go, keep an open mind, try not to let your own beliefs spoil an interesting visit.

(Report Problem)Where to start? American soldiers & pilots were beaten, tortured (sometimes to death), & brainwashed. This from an enemy so savage they didn't even CONSIDER abiding by the Geneva Convention; yet we are the war criminals? It is a well known fact the North Vietnamese Army used "cannon fodder" & used it often and thereby only have themselves to blame for their high casualty rates. This site sickened me as nothing has before.
