St Augustine is a fun little historic district with a lot of little sightseeing nuggets but not overwhelming where you feel like you're going non-stop. I highly recommend a ghost tour, they are cheap, fun and cheesy and a must when going to any of these types of towns. The food is great, too. Lots to choose from in all price ranges.

(Report Problem)The best part of St. Augustine are the street musicians when they're allowed to play. We live about an hour away and go there a couple of times a month. Sometimes more when the musicians are there. The Monterey Inn is a great place to stay, right on the water downtown and close to everything. The room rates are reasonable also. St. George street is very nice and has a good selection of shops.

(Report Problem)St. Augustine is a truely beautiful city. From the moment I crossed the Bridge of Lions, the city struck me as something very unique. It brings history into the future. There is the Spanish fort just a few blocks from boutiques and night clubs. If you spooky stuff, there are plenty of tours especially for this. The food is absolutly wonderful. The lodging is also very nice. And if you're in the mood for a beach, then cross the bridge and you'll be there in 5 minuetes.

(Report Problem)The trolly trasportation to the fountain of youth and the ghost tour were cool. But I say the great hospitality at the sops and tours are the best.

(Report Problem)St. Augustine is full of history and fun things to do. The Castillo De San MArcos (the old fort) is a must visit, along with St. George Street area shops, Ripley's Museum, The Fountain of Youth, and all of the wonderful, beautiful beaches. For those who enjoy lighthouses, the St. Augustine Lighthouse is over at Anastasia Island and their cafe serves great breakfast. Also unique is the Alligator Farm. There are numerous places to dine, such as the locals favorite, O'Steens, Caps or Barnacle Bill's that you would just have to try! All around, it is an excellent place to go.
