Loved it.
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 06/06/2005
My wife and I just went for the first time this weekend after moving to the area. It's a very beautiful museum which has large quanity of french impressionists. The layout is a little peculiar leading to problems finding your way around when they are installing a new exhibit.

Rocky Steps or Art...
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 06/06/2005
I have to admit, we stopped here more for the Rocky steps (hehe, try running up them yourself!) than for the art [as did many that we saw.. running up and down the steps with video cameras]. Still, I would recommend a visit here if you're into art. It's also neat to go to the little gazebo (outside) and look around.

Diverse Collection

What a great museum! Medieval to contemporary art, including non-Western and crafts, help to make this exhibit inclusive and stimulating. The space itself is gorgeous and conducive to browsing. Convenient parking, a really wonderful cafeteria, and spectacular views of central Phila. combine for a must-see Phila. attraction.

Wonder array of displays from body armor to Monet and everything in between.
By SandraS, 06/06/2005
This is a wonderful museum with something for everyone. My granddaughters (ages 2-14) find it fascinating. Sundays are great because it is "pay what you want" day. With a very large family, it is very convenient and we can attend more frequently.
