Description
This aquarium, at the end of Sakdidet Road, features wonderful displays of both saltwater and freshwater fish. It is here that local experts also hatch and breed young sea turtles for release into the sea. This is an important part of the work of the aquarium since the turtles are an endangered species. This is also Thailand's major marine biological research station, undertaking work on tropical reef ecosystems, commercial fisheries and other related projects.
