The Convento e della Chiesa di San Domenico (Convent and Church of Saint Domenico) was built towards the end of the 13th Century in order to establish a monastic community in the town of Pistoia. This beautiful well preserved religious site is a perfect example of Romanesque architecture with frescoes, paintings and sculptures dominating the naves and the arcade of the church.
