Lucca is one of the best Oakland restaurants serving European cuisine. The menu has an Italian flare and offers many specialties including linguini semplice tossed in a fresh tomato-basil sauce, crab cakes and rib eye steaks. The menu changes daily and seasonally: Lamb is featured in the spring, while pasta dominates in the summer. There is a full-service bar and extensive wine list. The banquet facilities can accommodate up to 30 people. During the nice weather, a patio is opened for dining, although it fills up quickly.
