A nice place to stay

We stayed here for a 3-day break on our Golden wedding anniversary holiday. The room was large and very clean, though the furniture was Spartan. Breakfast was Continental buffet, and quite varied and appetising. Evening meal was also varied and well cooked. The hotel is a long way from the city centre. This is good for peace and tranquility. The Japanese gardens are beautiful, with many fountains, pools and statues. There is a bus stop right outside the front door which takes you to the Metro in five minutes. From there a train takes you to many points of the city in about 15 minutes. The same ticket is used for both bus and train and costs about 50p. The hotel staff were on the whole very polite, helpful and efficient, but the Czechs are a very serious nation, so do not expect them to smile often. We enjoyed our stay in this hotel.
