Magnolias at the Mill, Purcellville

If you think modern living is absurd enough, think again! This restaurant is located inside a mill. The hardwood floors, cozy booths and petite tables with wooden pillars try to give this place a 'casual diner' look. But come on! It's a mill. However, other features are normal enough. Little lanterns suspended midway and miniature spotlights bathe the dining area with soft lighting. Chef Marrocco and his team hustle in the kitchen for an array of tasty eats such as soups, pizzas, small plates, sandwiches and Magnolia specials, such as bucatini pasta with chicken. More than 12 taps of American beer and a list of wines greet patrons at the bar.
