Heritage House
Description
Heritage House was built in 1891 and serves today as a historical tribute to that era. The furniture is original from the house and the people who lived there in the beginning (a wealthy orange-ranching widow). Your guided tour will take you to both floors, as well as the servants' quarters out back. Take the kids on this tour for they will be able to learn a lot about Riverside's history; and enjoy exploring the many rooms and areas of the house. History comes to life when it is seen exactly as it was lived. The museum/house is closed to public viewing in the months of July and August but on other days, admission is free but, donations are welcome.
