Six Flags Fiesta Texas

Description

It just keeps getting bigger and bigger. The city's largest theme park now boasts not only the shows and musical reviews that made it popular, but also dozens of rides and a water park. Prepare for everything when you visit Six Flags Fiesta Texas. Each year the park adds new and faster rides, primarily in the roller coaster category. The water park expands exponentially each year, as well. In addition, the musical shows always manage to upstage what had been done previously. All of the shows are held at Lone Star Lil's in Crackaxle Canyon. Definitely an all-day trip, Fiesta Texas is a fun, but expensive, adventure. Admission varies depending on the season.

Fiesta Texas Is awsome!! My Favoride Ride Is Superman. The Fact That It is 175 feet high is Cool. Also that it goes 70 mph. It's won Best Floorless Roller Coaster IN the world 2 years in a row. Just when you hit the brakes and think it's over you get more loops and drops. My second Favorite is The Raddler It's the tallest and fastest wooden roller Coaster in The world. It Goes 180 Feet high! (Note It only drops 140 feet on the first drop.)Don't worrie if your a toddler they have a lot of rides for you even a Roller Coaster. You'll Find Der Roller Coaster in Spassburg not that far from Superman. You Must be 36 inches Tall to ride. Some toddlers can ride the Road Runner Express It covers 2400 feet of track. It's located in Cracxsal Canyon Not Far at all From The Raddler. You Must Be 48 inches Tall to ride.If You want to be power launged and go on the first ever power lauged Roller Coaster in the world then get on Poltragiest. You get launged at 60 mph. When you see it it looks is all bunched up,and when your on it it keeps looking like your going to hit a poll, but all of the sudden you turn. You must be 54 inches to tall to ride.If you go on Scream!! You'll go towering 200 feet in the air. Best of all You never know when it's going to happen.Finnaly When you go on The Boomerang You'll Get Some loops then do it again this time Backwards! When It was my first time going to Fiesta Texas and I enterd Los Festavils my first thought was that this place is going to be boring. Next year i'm going back to Sea World, but trust me I was wrong.

Six Flags San Antonio
By ,
I have a season pass to my local Six Flags Park, so I got into Fiesta Texas for free. I enjoyed the park; it is much bigger and has more rides and shows then the one here in New Orleans.

A couple of rides stand out in particular. First, the Superman ride was excellent; big drops and a couple of loops made for a fun ride. Poltergeist was also pretty good; more for the shock of the initial takeoff then the ride itself; it shoots out of the gate very quickly. Also, the Scream was one of my favorite rides; unlike it's counterparts in New Orleans, the Scream shoots you up quick and, once you settle at the top, shoots you down quick; in New Orleans, this is two different rides. This is the first time I have seen a ride that shoots you up AND down, so I enjoyed this ride the most.

The shows are enjoyable and certainly get you out of the heat for some time, so I consider this a push with every other theme park in the world.

There were no lines on the rides, so we were able to get through to anything. On Chaos, it was me and three other people on the entire ride. Anyway, even in the summer months, the park had plenty of atractions for the number of guests that it had.

If you are a roller coaster junkie (like myself), you wouldn't come to San Antonio just to visit this park, but if you are here with your family, it makes for a nice day at the park.

I would caution you one thing however; unlike most amusement parks, there is no childrens' section to this park. There are plenty of rides for the kids, but they are spread out throughout the park. This makes it a lot tougher for those with smaller children. Also, I should mention that there is a small waterpark included in the park; it has the bisic waterslides.

Fiesta Texas..so much fun!
By ,
I loved the fact that the small kids rides where spread throughout the park. My whole family was able to stay together and the big kids got to ride while the little ones waited and then they waited while the little ones rode. Awesome! My hubby or I didn't have to take turns sitting out since the rides were mixed in! Thanks Fiesta Texas!
PS the Chinese acrobats were fabulous! Very cool show! Loves this park better than my local six flags.

Fun, but needs a better ride then the Superman
By ,
Hey, the theme park was awsome don't get me down. But I think they need a little better ride then the "Superman" there main hit. The one in Dallas is a little better. There isn't a ride that steanked there. Well, besides the Superman there. It goes to slow up. Down is kind of fun. Hey this is only a 9 year olds opinion. But I couldn't live without rollocoasters.
