housekeeping services are horrible, we left for the day and came back to find our beds sloppily made and food containers and bottles still in our room from the previous night.I called the front desk to complain and they gave me a $30 credit but tupon checking out I was told I would only get a $12 credit because I ordered movies that were supposed to be included in my package.The young lady behind the desk argued with me for about five minutes a manager came looked at the computer and saw that I did have a package deal and refunded me my $30

I'm writing this review as I'm sitting in the hotel room. The hotel is what you would expect out of a Marriott hotel -- Clean, well maintained, simple decor, great value, great service. Our room overlooks the pool and the marina which is gorgeous. The hotel is located at the marina, which is very close to the Seaport Village where many shops and restaurants are. The hotel is wired with high speed connection and for $10 a day you're connected! Very convenient for business travel too.

This is a great hotel. Every aspect of the service is excellent. I have stayed in both the North and South towers. Rooms are pretty much equal, but I like the North tower rooms better because they have balconies.

Let me give you an example of great their great service. When I checked in the front desk associate asked if there was anything else he could do. I jokingly said "send-up a bottle of champagne." I followed that with "I'm just joking." But, shortly after we got to our room, a chilled half-bottle of champagne arrived with a note that it was complimentary. It blew us away!

The location is great. The hotel is within a few minutes walk from many shops and restaurants. My wife and I enjoyed the peddel-cab service on the boardwalk. We also took the water taxi over to the Coronado Island Marriott for dinner one night.

We used room service several times and the service was very prompt, coming in less time than we were told. The food is not innexpeisive, but everything was great and well presented.

The only negative comment is that the hotel was full and seemed very "busy." But in spite of that the service we received was excellent!
