Great over-night getaway
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 06/06/2005
We had a great time walking downtown seattle and then retiring to a very luxurious room that had the best view of the Space Needle. Everyone was very helpful. Wasn't too happy about having to pay $26 per day to park after spending $150 on our stay, but all in all it was a very relaxing 24 hours.

Price did not match comfort
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 06/06/2005
Our room was booked as a packaged cruise deal. Internet showed 139.00 a night. When we received our bill we paid 153.00 per person!! We questioned it and was told that is what it is. Nice view of water and Space Needle, beds were nice. Bathroom is way to small and dark. Not enough light to do your hair in the mirror. Tile in tub was in bad shape. NOT WORTH 300.00 for one night.

The Westin Seattle
By Ann, 06/06/2005
As a Starwood member, I stay at a lot of Westin hotels. I especially like the Seattle Westin. You can expect to be treated well there. I recommend asking for a room with a view of the Space Needle for a distinctive Seattle flavor. The hotel is close to Pike's Place Market and the Seattle Museum.

I loved the view, the proximity and the amenities. Thanks so much Westin and Yahoo... for a great hotel at resonable price.

wonderful
By D. Mighty, 06/06/2005
We thought the word heavenly was just a cute marketing ploy, but we were thrilled to find out that it was true. the hotel is beautiful, the room was clean and extremely comfortable, and surprisingly, we were the only couple on our cruise that did not complain about their overnight stay in seattle. on top of all that, quite affordable when compared to other major hotels in the area. highly recommended on all counts.

Business Traveler perspective
By Barry Chu, 06/06/2005
Some context around how I am judging this. Since I am in Seattle on business I want a few things, but I want those few things to be excellent.

1. a very comfortable bed
2. easy access to internet
3. a great workspace
4. easy access to transportation options

Out of those 4 things, this Seattle Westin had perfect scores. The bed was fantastic, internet access was great, and of course the transportation was easily accessible as the hotel is in the middle of Seattle.

The workspace, though, is fantastic. The desk they provide, is, frankly, better than the desk I work on in the office. It offers lots of space to spread around, easy access to plugs, and a comfortable chair. In addition, the room I stayed in faced outwards to a fantastic view of downtown Seattle.

All in all was a great stay.
