Granted to the talented craftsman, Gerrit Visser, by Governor Simon van der Stel in 1690, this enchanting farm embraces over 300 years of Old Cape living. Fine wines are crafted from quality grapes grown on Blaauwklippen. The award-winning wines are produced from the 15 cultivars growing on the lower slopes of the Stellenbosch Mountain. Cape relishes and preserves prepared to Old Cape Malay recipes are sold in the Country shop. Weinwurst, Salami, and Chutney products are also available on the estate and sold during wine sales hours.
