Stay in Comfort w/ Great Location
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 06/06/2005
I have stayed at the Intercontinental several times and love it. The rooms are a bit smallish but the views are wonderful whichever angle and the staff is sincerely helpful despite being pulled in several directions. Whether a tourist or business visitor (I was both) I would not hesitate recommending the Intercontinental.

InterContinental Sydney

Comfortable yet modern accents in the rooms with great views over the Royal Botanic Gardens and the harbor. Excellent location for sightseeing, yet quietly (and just slightly) removed from the bustle of the city's center. The Opera House is just down the street. Memorable breakfast buffet. Well-equipped Business Center within the hotel. Professional and courteous staff throughout.

My husband and I made this our first stop on our honeymoon, and they sure made it worth the long flight. They answered any questions we had about things to do and where to eat. Anything we asked, they answered with a smile, and not a forced one at that. It was so nice to go somewhere, and feel as welcome as the staff at the Intercontinental made us feel. It has a great location, and friendly staff. I would definitely stay here again!

A luxurious and friendly hotel in the heart of sydney harbour.Only a short walk from circuler quay, this hotel has rooms with breathtaking views over the harbour, bridge, opera house and more.
My wife and i,being new in Australia, were impressed with the staff's helpfulness and assistance. The buffet breakfast is also something to behold,it sets you up for a full days exploring i can tell you.
Overall we were very pleased to have stayed in a marvelous hotel ,in one of the greatest cities in the world.
We would certainly use this hotel group again, especially when we re-visit Sydney.
