Owned and managed by Californian Traci Concoli, the Pink Cow is fast becoming the place for wine lovers to relax in over affordable drinks while enjoying delicious vegetarian friendly Californian and Mexican cuisine. Spacious, with three rooms, a bar and a piano, the Pink Cow doubles as an avant-garde art space for shows that change monthly. Delicious homemade guacamole and "cow" chips, a veggie burger and fried burritos are some of the speciality. There is wines by bottle and glass. The Ravenswood Vintner Zinfandel is a steal. As are the Friday and Saturday evening eat-all-you-can BBQ specials. The bar opens Tuesdays-Sundays at 5 p.m.
The title expresses exactly how I feel about The Pink Cow. With Traci at the helm, the team does a superb job of combining good food with good company. No request is too big and you won't get that: "...sorry it's not part of the set" expression that you may have encountered in less customer savvy establishments. Fridays are especially good since there is an all-you-can-eat buffet. The tables are bedecked with delicious fare everywhere you can imagine and vegetarians can eat their fill too. I'm planning to take a party to dinner at "...the cow" sometime next week.
