Constructed in 1958, Tokyo Tower soars 332 meters (1092 feet), 13 meters (42 feet) higher than the Eiffel Tower. There are two observatories from which to get panoramic views of Tokyo and Mount Fuji on a clear day. The Main Observatory is 150 meters (492 feet) high, the Special Observatory, 250 meters (820 feet) high. The tower is lit by 164 floodlights: orange in winter, and incandescent white in summer. Inside the tower, you will also find the Tokyo Tower Wax Museum, the Mysterious Walking Zone and the Trick Art Gallery.
Tokyo might be a vidrant, lively and active city, let alone the fact it is crowded, but it is not the most attractive city I have been to, and the Tokyo Tower just adds to the ugliness. Don't get me wrong, I enjoy Japan and I even enjoy Tokyo. Mind you during the night time iTokyo Tower lights up and looks a lot more appealing. But I would not waste you money on going up the tower...you can have great views of the city for a lot less money, and if you go to the city hall you can have a great view for free.
This is the worst thing ever to do in Japan my wife died =( and my cusin got drunk and fell off the top. I don't know why the workers would serve him beer he was only 6. Maybe you need to fire some people. I advise anyone reading this to never go there because it was definitley not fun!!!
