Beautiful Kiev

In June, I visited Kiev for the second time.
The first time, I went there I was really curious to see how the city looks like and what the life of people is there.
I had made an image to my head that did not apply to reality... it was much much better.

The weather was excellent ( the first time I went, it was winter and I froze there!). So, now, I really had the opportunity to walk the city and do great things.

My time was limited but since I was visiting a beloved person, I was not looking ' to do things' but rather have a great and quite time.
The first day, I went to Pirogovo, which is an  open air museum. It is a big forest and inside there are samples of architecture of house from different areas from Ukraine. So, you walk in t he forest and you come across a typical house from Karpath or a typical house from Lviv. I recommended it.

I live within a family and they are very nice people.

The second day, I went to Dnipro river which is the river that cross the city. It is very nice to walk along the river. In the river there is an island called Gidropark. There you can rent a boat and go row in the river. It was very nice and romantic.

I had my breakfast and then went to visit the monastery Pecherskaya Lavra.
It is very nice,. Nearby, there is a street with people who sell very good honey. I recommend that.

After, visiting the monastery we went  to park where we had sasli ( something like bbq) and votka:)
