All-Inclusive Cuba

Hi there, im going to Cuba in November for the first time and would like travel around the country, have you got any suggestions for must go to places?

Went to cuba in 2004 and loved it, recommend havana and really just enjoy the place. travel around as much as you can, i would recommend this to anyone.

Spent 3 weeks there back in May this year. Very intriguing place and still relatively cheap despite the two tier pricing between locals and tourists. Use the Cuban homestays - they're a great way of interacting with the local people. Apart from Havana would recommend Trinidad,Vinales and Baracoa at the far east of the island - the latter is a bit of a slog to get too but well worth it. The Premier Especial train from Santiago to Havana isn't all its cracked up to be - the 2nd class carriages were uncomfortable, filthy and cockroach filled and our trip was only 5 hours late!

I went to cuba in April 06 to to my nephews wedding what at time we all had.The staff could not do enough for us to make our stay a fantastic one ,the food the people were just fab,we stayed in Varadero beautiful place,we did a few trips out also. My nephew and his wife loved it that much they went back for their first wedding annaversary .

I have been three times to Cuba and am booking my fourth visit for New Year 2009 (50 year anniversary of revolution). Anyone considering going I would say GO GO GO. It is a beautiful place with wonderful people. As they are proud of their heritage I would recommend that you read a little bit about their history and drop the odd fact into a conversation, you will then have a friend.

Hi, we went to Cuba at the beginning of June this year and absolutely loved it. The only point I would raise is if you fly by Cubana air, take plenty to drink with you (obviously in platics bottles receommended by customs) because the service by cabin staff is very limited - not to say they were not courteous - they were. Its just once they have issued drinks with dinner (about and 1 1/2 in flight) we did not see the crew for around 4 hours and when we did, we asked for a drink and refused saying the service had stopped.

Anyway, we stayed in Varadero which is not the real Cuba, but still a fantastic experience. Havana - well we could have done a week there alone. The old american cars mixed with Lada's from the old soviet connection was a site to see. The real Cubans we did meet were extremely friendly and love to sit around in the evening with a guitar, bongo's and rum and just chill to music.

There is too much to write about the place, but as Cuba is being opened more to Tourism, go within the next few years before it becomes totally commercialised and loses its charm.

I spent 3 weeks in Cuba a few years ago. If you're thinking of going stop thinking & go. Its fantastic, but if you have the courage,hire a car, and really see the island, Varadero & Havanna are a must, but see more if you go.

One of the best holidays I have had with my kids ( swam with dolphins ).The best beaches in the world.

HI we went to Caya coco in cuba last year had a wonderful time, as everyone else is saying havana is the best!!! only there 2 days and really could have spent a whole week there, check out the tropicana night club too. The Cuban people are really friendly. If you can spare the room in your luggage take extra clothes as they will ask you for things especially sandals and towels. We ended up leaving nearly everything, shared out between the whole staff in the hotel not just the maids.
