Brighton Beachfront Ideas
Brighton beachfront is a relaxed, friendly and diverse place to eat, shop and play. There is so much to do at the beachfront, we at VisitBrighton want to make it easier for you to plan a full day at the beach without missing out on the fun things that the beachfront has to offer.

Get active with volleyball at Yellowave , basketball and a wealth of watersports right at the front, go east on the Volks , England's oldest electric railway, stop off at the Sea Life Centre with its sharks, seahorses and spectacular underwater viewing tunnel, or head west for the children's wet and dry play area, the green expanse of Hove Lawns, and watersports at Hove Lagoon.
Eat!
Fresh mackerel smoked makes a tasty lunch and a good introduction to the Fishing Quarter with its museum, modern art trail and Artists' Quarter. Take time out in one of the trendy bars or eat Mexican, Italian or wholefood in one of the Beachfront restaurants.
Or eat at Brighton Marina at one of over 20 restaurants, including fresh Mediterranean cuisine at Cafe Paradiso.
Nightime is funtime...
Nightime is funtime on the Beachfront with clubs open every night of the week, free performances at the Ellipse area, open air cinema and music on the beach and big-name shows and concerts at the Brighton Centre .
Brighton Marina, one of the city's hottest lifestyle destinations, overflows with dreamboat yachts, outlet shopping, sailing trips, 8-screen cinema, fitness suite, 26 lane bowling, casino and numerous quayside bars, restaurants and cafes.
