If anyone is planning this sort of trip, may I also suggest the camp I stayed at which is close to Governor's (Bataleur and Kitchwa Tembo). My boss suggested that Governor's is best for a honeymoon, probably because they have a special suite. Both camps have amazing staff and really knowledgeable guides. From the time you arrive at the camp's airstrip to the time you leave, the service is top class. Some of my colleagues were a bit jaded about going to visit the Masaai village, but I found it fascinating, particularly all the explanations on local plants and the medicinal applications. I want to take my husband and son there, because, cost notwithstanding, it is a really worthwhile experience.
Stopped at the Governer's Camp a few years ago, one of the best 24 hours I have ever spent, had warthogs begging for food at the dinner table, have been to see the bears catching salmon at Knight Inlet this year but not a patch on the Masi Mari
