Tale of Three Cities & Surrounds

Day One

Arrive in Perth from the UK and head to your hotel.  Take a trip to Kings Park for an amazing view of the city before indulging in a gourmet meal.

Day Two

Spend the day in the coastal town of Fremantle, about 20 minutes south of Perth. The area is buzzing with cafés and restaurants.  Take a tour of the Old Fremantle Gaol while you’re there.

Day Three

Take a day trip to Rottnest Island, a short ferry ride from either Fremantle or Perth.  Spend the day cycling around the island which is a car free zone, snorkelling in turquoise waters or relaxing on secluded white sandy beaches.

Day Four

Pick up a hire car and drive down to the beautiful Margaret River region stopping off en route to swim with the Rockingham dolphins, and walk the Busselton Jetty. On arrival, check in to one of the many gorgeous boutique hotels.

Day Five

Leave the car keys in the room and explore the area in style from the back of a vintage car. Let someone else do the driving as you try some of Australia’s best wines and gorge on delicious local produce.

Day Six

Get involved in the local lifestyle with a learn to surf lesson, a yoga class, or a morning kayak along the river to learn about the region’s indigenous heritage. Dine at one of the winery restaurants after a day enjoying the great outdoors.

Day Seven

Drive back to Perth (about three and a half hours), drop the car at the airport and fly on to Sydney for a night out in style. You can book online to attend a performance at the Opera House, and making a reservation in advance will give you a great chance of experiencing something very memorable.

Day Eight

Get out on the water on a harbour cruise to take in the city sights for a spectacular start to your Sydney stay.

Day Nine

Feel on top of the world with a BridgeClimb walk to the top of the Sydney Harbour Bridge . Relax over a long lunch at one of the waterside restaurants before hitting the shops.

Day Ten

ImageExperience the Aussie coastal lifestyle down at Bondi. Learn to surf, bake on the beach or watch the beautiful people from one of the cafes or bars, before exploring the coastline with a relaxed walk along to Bronte beach. Head back in to town for some of the world’s best nightlife.

Day Eleven

Take a flight up to Brisbane for laid back living at its best. Relax by the lagoon at South Bank Parklands, enjoy one of the museums or galleries or visit the local koala sanctuary for a great start to your Queensland experience.

Day Twelve

ImageGet the adrenalin pumping on the Gold Coast (less than an hour from Brisbane) with a visit to one of the thrilling theme parks. Other options include bungee jumping in Surfers Paradise, horse riding through on beautiful rainforest tracks, jet skiing off one of the stunning beaches or taking a hot air balloon over the hinterland.

Day Thirteen

Whatever you didn’t get round to doing yesterday, try today!

Day Fourteen

Calm things down for the last day and do as much as little as you like. Life is easy on the Gold Coast.
