Belfast is a wonderful place... to live and visit, it has sooooo much grandure.. I personally have had friends from all over the USA here visiting and they agree... it had a bad rep for so long it's time to bring it out of hiding and see it for what it is...beautiful, I just love that Lagan..

Belfast is awesome.
We had such a wonderful time there. The food was fabulous wherever we went, and the people were always friendly and helpful. The markets have a wonderful atmosphere, and the the history of the place can be so deep, you feel like you've stepped back in time. The buildings are stunning and you can walk around many of the churchs, taking in their beauty.
Belfast may have been the place for terrorists at one point, but now it's home to tourists.
Fabulous place and I recommend any to visit at least once. Although having been, you will want to go again and again.

40 years ago the only way a Catholic could get into Queen University, Belfast was as a cadaver for medical research purposes! Ponder on that. Love your photos.
