Personally this is my favourite restaurant in Sydney, yes there is NO views to be had, it seems to be in the middle of no-where (as is the one in Melbourne) but the food is awesome. The braised shin of beef is fab and the cocktails are really good, get there early though as the queues get long and seating can take some time

One of the must do restaurants in Sydney, not cheap, but fantastic for viewing the sun setting over the Sydney harbour in the evenings in Summer. Lunch is also good, but its a little pricey. Really recommend it for dinner. The only thing is the ferries seem not to run in the evening to take you home, meaning its the bus which takes ages back to the city or its a taxi which will cost the remainder of your budget that you blew over dinner. Try and do it...
