Australia East Coast Road Trip

Walking through the Botanical Gardens in Sydney is really great fun, look out for the Ibis and huge spiders!!! Not to mention the Fruit Bats hanging in the trees.

This is quite a famous little pie shop. Its kind of right on the road and has been there for years and years.

A really great walk, but start in the morning before it gets hot

Awesome Pizza, can be eaten in or taken away, cheap, and BYO with a bottle shop next door means that its a really cheap place. I went there with a group of 20 friends.

Right next to the SCG so if you get a guided tour of the SCG you can get around this place too

One of the best cricket grounds in the world, a beautiful pavilion, awesome views of the city and a great place to watch the Aussies, the NSW Blues or the Sydney Swans (cricket and Aussie Rules)

Personally this is my favourite restaurant in Sydney, yes there is NO views to be had, it seems to be in the middle of no-where (as is the one in Melbourne) but the food is awesome. The braised shin of beef is fab and the cocktails are really good, get there early though as the queues get long and seating can take some time

really expensive, but frequently rated one of the best retaurants anywhere in the world

One of the must do restaurants in Sydney, not cheap, but fantastic for viewing the sun setting over the Sydney harbour in the evenings in Summer. Lunch is also good, but its a little pricey. Really recommend it for dinner. The only thing is the ferries seem not to run in the evening to take you home, meaning its the bus which takes ages back to the city or its a taxi which will cost the remainder of your budget that you blew over dinner.
