I am an ex pat working in Hoi An for a Japanese Glassware company, its based in Thanh Ha Industrial Cluster, Hoi An Town. I really love Vietnam the people are so friendly. I have only been to Ho Chi Min City, Danang and My Son so far. But I am planning to travel the whole country. I really loved your blog of your trip. I am glad you enjoyed this magnificent country. I hope many more tourists will realise Vietnam is a wonderful country to come to and also the fact it is cheap to travel helps.
The company that I work for is open to the public 6 days a week. We sell all types of glassware and open to tours and glassmaking experiences. I really enjoy Vietnam and I am so glad that there is a blog site regarding this beautiful country. I think Hoi An is a must see for tourists as it is a UNESCO heritage site and really shows the Vietnamese way of life. There is nice restaurants and pubs where you can sample the Vietnamese way of life.

they allow anyone into vietnam, americans, australians, but you need to get a visa from the vietnam embassy. A tourist visa lasts for 30 days usually. You apply to the embassy in your country e.g UK - London France - Paris
