i lived in poland for two years...their climate is superb. hot summers and cold winters....for one who enjoys his sunshine and also winter sports it was great. i lived in wroclaw, a great lively city, kracow is also good and zacopane is wonderful in winter and summer for walking. cheap flights are available from many uk airports, but book early as flights are in demand..so many poles in uk wanting to visit loved ones back home!! gdansk is a lovely city, no far from the sea, the sea is very cold, but lovely sandy beaches!! and hot sunny days! i regularly go back to poland, and i think i always will. great people, friendly and compared to the uk its still cheap.

Like many in this country I worked many years in Germany. Much of what we think of the Germans, both good and bad, comes from our experiences while working and living there. Now things have changed and we are the hosts of many east european workers. We must ask ourselves "What would we want Polish people to say about us when they return to their families.

I am from Poland, also. Nowadays I work in the UK. It is nice to be in Britain among the British people because my father fightened in British Army during the Second World War. I enjoy that a lot of Polish people can work in the UK, now.

Hey everyone!

Yes yes yes, we have a coast and ve have nice beaches! I am here in London now for nearly 5 years, but used to live in 3city(gdansk-gdynia-sopot)
It is just amazing..I am going back every summer taking my english friends, never had one who said "I didn't like it". SO YOU WILL LOVE IT FOLKS! Go and feel the spirit of old city, very lively and breath taking, maybe for me cause I am so sentimantal, but, sure you will fall in love to...lots of artist musicians and art itslef, give this nice european feel..Plus if you love ambers..thats the place to go..Also as my boyfriend says: great value for the money. SO enjoy why its still cheap there! lol...And yes recomended go and see ORLOWO, breathtaking cliff!

Oh and if you there before me, please kiss a NEPTUN for me! lol

All the best.
