Jambo, that was heavenly, thanks for the precise description. Those comparing M25 to mombasa roads, please dont, read before going on a trip, hope you didnt expect red carpeted roads.
Thank you for sharing your experience. I was thinking about going next year. You have definitely made my mind up for me. It sounds absolutely fantastic.
It still sounds amazing!!!!!I was there on leave from the Middle east quite a long time ago-and my memories are still vivid and will be with me forever!!!!!!!!
This Kenyan tale, brought back many memories,of when my late wife and I did a Safari lodge in the early ninety's.. One day when out in the Eight seater Zebra striped mini-bus we saw a large dust cloud beyond what we thought was our lodge. when we got back to that evening the Ranger (Aussie) informed us that . That afternoon, there was 25,000 Wildebeeste (Gnu's) galloped ,stampeded or whatever gnu's do when their in a hurry, ten yards from our room !! Missed it by two hours.!! A pity you did'nt see the Rhino. We were on a balcony overlooking a waterhole ,nothing in sight for miles only scrubland. Then ! There they were !! Out of nowhere ..I swear they appeared a quarter kilometre from the waters edge . Wart hogs; Dik Dik's (Miniature Deer)and a Large White Rhino.. Wow !! I could go on and on with stories about that beautiful holiday..The best I've had in my 76 years.. To anyone reading this . I say go !! Before it's to late..

I am a resident of Nairobi, born and brought up in Nbi. I have just gone through the holiday report submitted by sam. though I have lived in Kenya for the past 45 years, I have never been to the Masai Mara. going through sam's story and the pictures i felt like going to the Mara too. I have been to Mombasa on several occasions and yes it is a very wonderful place to go for a holiday. I would like to thank all the tourists who come to kenya for their holidays since it helps all the locals too.
