We had a fantastic 3 week trip to India & Nepal....staring off in Delhi, then hiring a private chauffeur to drive us between Delhi, Agra & Jaipur so we could also see the countryside and get to specific destinations with ease. The Taj Mahal was spectacular and we stayed at the Oberoi hotel with a balcony overlooking this fabulous building sow e could get up before dawn and watch sunrise with a cup of tea and sunset with a beer! The Pink City in Jaipur was incredible but the unexpected highlight was the observatory. Then a flight to Kathmandu which was my favourite place, a fantastic city and I thoroughly recommend a flight along the Everest range of mountains which was spectacular. You can actually get 15 course meals out there with local specialities which were an experience indeed! Then we flew down to Mumbai and stayed in the Royal Taj Mahal hotel which was lovely. Tne we had a final week in Kerala which was lovely (apart from the crows that tried to steal all your food!). The best holiday I've ever been on and well worth spending a little bit extra on thinsg that make the whole experience better.
