I always fancied going to Ireland, although never got there. I tend to think of Dublin when I think of Ireland, but I love the fact you have writen about Belfast and Gallway because now I may just explore that area instead. It looks beautiful. Thanks for sharing!
Spent two weeks in Ireland last year.Loved every minute. Visited Fivemiletown where my ancestors came from then motored down to Adare which is a beautiful place to spend a few days, then moved on to Portmarnock on the West coast which was an ideal place for visiting Dublin and surrounding area.Hope to go back next year.
My mother is from Oughterard and all the photos bring many happy childhood memories back . Really great trip plan and I'm thinking of even taking my mother away for a week and following this trip - memory lane!
I was so fortunate to spend nearly two years in Ireland. My heart aches for it now. There is no finer place on earth. I hope to return with my darling Irish husband some day to live the summers in Lixnaw, Co. Kerry. If you should be so lucky to visit, you will be exhausted each night from smiling! It is that beautiful. Slan!
our son and daughter-in-law stay in Dublin, so we have visited quite often, Ireland is no doubt a very vibrant city but if you travel around especially over to the west coast or even to Rosslare and to the south it realy is a beautiful country, I just wish I was 40 years younger I would up sticks and live there
