Birilli, Turin

Just across the river where the streets begin to go uphill towards the villas, this place is among the city's food landmarks, where generations of Turinese come to eat. The Birilli brothers offer a traditional cuisine, not strictly local at their self titled bistro “Birilli”. Try the antipasti, the tasty pastas, and some of the meat courses that are absolutely delicious. There is a reasonably good selection of wine featured here too.
