Sheraton Vancouver Wall Centre, Vancouver

I had a prolonged project in Vancouver and stayed in Wall Centre for that long a period. All in all it's a very nice place - great location, tallest building in downtown Vancouver offers fantastic view; staff is very friendly and helpful; great gym (with a fee). Since I stayed there for a long time, I used many different rooms. They all come in different sizes and shapes and niceness. In general the North Tower is newer but doesn't go as high.

Great location! My family and I enjoyed the hotel very much. Room was spacious and clean. I needed a couple of cribs which took them some time to organize. Other than that, everything was great. I would stay there again.

We stayed at the Sheraton Wall Ctr. hotel a little while ago (8/2004) and really just had an exceptional experience. The views from either tower are fantastic, the rooms are spacious, well-designed, and bright (I really dispise dark and dingy hotel rooms), and the service is quite good as well. The best part about this hotel is its central location, a few blocks from Robson St. for shopping and dining, a few blocks from the ferry to Granville Island, walking distance to the best restaurant in Vancouver, C restaurant.

The only drawbacks are parking ($20CDN per night) - we parked on the street and got towed, d'oh - and gym fee is $10CDN to use the machines. However the pool is free so be sure to bring your bathing suit!
