Eborienteers
Description
This locally based orienteering club take their title from the old Roman name for York, Eboracum. Their members are spread across the eastern half of North Yorkshire, including Malton, Selby and Scarborough. From the steep valley terrain of the North York Moors, to its heather/bracken moorland areas, their members are blessed with a wide variety of terrain, all within a short distance of the city of York itself. They work closely with schools and have an award badge scheme, based around a series of events in the nearby area. Provisions are made for beginners and non-members are welcomed. Their meeting times can vary, so please contact them for further details.
